Details: Historic residential property in South Cornwall (2008-2010)

The owners of a previously converted Chapel in a South Cornwall village were in need of assistance with its redevelopment from workshops, a house and two holiday units into a new home for themselves. There was a need to incorporate working areas within this design, as well as a comfortable home, as the owners operate a successful horticultural business from the site. RTP Surveyors designed and administered the contract for developing this project. This project incorporated obtaining the relevant permissions, including Planning consent and Building Control approval, with assistance from a Planning Consultant to smooth the passage of the Planning Authority liaison.

The property conversion and refurbishment needed technical input from RTP for the re-opening up of previously divided spaces and improvements to thermal efficiency.
