This month we celebrate a very important anniversary for one of our much valued Surveyors, Tony Morehen. In September Tony has been with RTP Surveyors for twenty years.
As our Home Survey specialist, Tony has surveyed over 5,000 properties on behalf of RTP during those twenty years. We have seen his skills, experience and expertise go from strength to strength, and witnessed many valued friendships form with staff and clients alike.
In his honour, and taking into account Tony’s fondness for baked goods, the company visited The Baking Bird Bakery in Truro to mark the occasion with tea and cake, which was a hit with all staff.
On being with the company for so long, Tony says:
“From the age of around fifteen I had the aspirations of becoming a Building Surveyor, with surveying and architecture running in the family. Thirty years on I have no regrets and am very pleased with the decision I made.
There are two aspects which, I think, make the ‘day job’ fulfilling. The first is to enjoy what you do, and hopefully it is clear that I do. The second is a good working relationship with colleagues. In both offices there are a great team of people who support each other both professionally and emotionally.
In the 20 years I have been with Richard Thomas and Martin Winchester there have been very few staff changes, which I think is testament to the fact that I am not the only one who enjoys the happy yet hard working environment that we have all created.”
Once again we wish to congratulate Tony on this milestone, and look forward to many more years working together.
