Fire Risk Assessment
The Regulation Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 came into effect in October 2006 and requires that all property with minor exceptions, for instances homes, have a fire risk assessment in place. This involves detailed assessment of the risks posed by the structure of the building, the way the building is managed and the fire escape routes.
We are currently involved with examining a wide range of existing buildings for the County Council and private clients resulting in generating Fire Risk Assessments for corporate buildings, schools, holiday lets and leisure activities. The application of the Reform Order is equal for all property but each building is very different in the implications that need examination. Outcomes are also as varied as to the type of building and its operation.
We at RTP Surveyors are happy to discuss your requirements at an early stage in order to assist in determining the scope and extent of the assessment required.
