On Friday February 7th, The British Heart Foundation held a Ramp up the Red fundraising day. The team here at RTP not only love to help a good cause whenever we can, but we also love an excuse to dress differently and eat a few cakes.
The team all wore something red, cakes were indeed baked to varying degrees of success and redness. We played some games and also held a raffle where all the prizes, donated by the staff, were of course, you guessed it, RED!
A fun day was had by all. Some weird and wonderful raffle prizes were won, from a potato peeler to a lottery ticket, and we raised a fantastically positive, heart-healing, total of £74 for the charity.
If you would like to know more about The British Heart Foundation, and the wonderful work they do, or would like to make a donation, you can visit their website here.
We are still waiting to hear if the lucky winner of the lottery ticket did indeed get all the numbers, as they are yet to share out the winnings with the rest of the team. I’m sure one of the surveyors might have mentioned a group trip to Hawaii….
