Cream Teas All Round…

On Friday 10th July, RTP held our summer charity day by introducing ‘Bring a Cream Tea to Work’ day. It was, unsurprisingly, a tasty hit!

The staff brought different elements of everything you would find at a cream or afternoon tea, and we all sampled the various delights, whilst donating to do so.

In addition, there was a ‘Guess the Toffees in the Jar’ game, which Julie Bidgway won – meaning her dentist may not be as happy as she was. In addition, we held a tea themed quiz, which was won by Harriet Parkin at our Bodmin office and Milly Thomas in Falmouth. Their tea and cake knowledge was rather impressive.

In total, as well as managing to stuff ourselves to bursting, we raised a wonderful £49.68. This money is going to be donated to the WRSAC (Cornwall), which is the Women’s Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre, Cornwall. You can find out more about the charity, and even have the chance to donate, here.

The event was enjoyed so much by the staff, we may make it an annual event!
